Located in the mountains of Western North Carolina, Franklin
is a wonderful place to live and visit with its many waterfalls,
hiking trails, ruby mines and so much more. It has been home
to me since I was a child, and if you’re into the outdoors,
it is such a paradise.
Franklin
is conveniently situated central to Atlanta, 2
hrs south, Chattanooga, a little less than two hours west,
Charlotte, 3 hours to the east, and Asheville, NC which is
about 1 hour to our Northeast.
It is hard to pin down exactly all the things you can do
in Franklin, but with a little look into the Franklin Chamber's
website, one I designed, you will see that Franklin abounds
with outdoor and indoor places to be. Whether hunting, fishing,
hiking, swimming, boating, rock climbing, four wheeling, camping
or just picnicking with a view, it's all right here in WNC.
